By installing and using Orbit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the extension.

2. Description of Service

Orbit is a Chrome extension that allows you to archive, organize, and search conversations from various AI platforms. All conversation data is stored locally on your device.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Premium Subscription

Free Tier: Limited to 10 saved conversations.

Premium Tier: One-time payment of $49.99 for lifetime access to unlimited conversations.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe
Premium access is non-transferable
Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Orbit for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the extension
Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Use the service to store illegal content

6. Data and Privacy

Your conversation data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your conversations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Intellectual Property

Orbit and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Richard Deetlefs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Orbit integrates with third-party AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.). We are not affiliated with these platforms, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms of service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Orbit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The service is free of viruses or harmful components

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of Orbit.

11. Data Loss

While we strive for reliability, we are not responsible for any loss of locally stored data. We recommend regularly exporting your data as a backup.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the extension settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Orbit after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
